What is a digital business card?
A digital business card is a web page that holds your contact details, links and profile, and is shared by a link, a QR code or an NFC tap instead of on paper. Because it lives at a URL, you can change what it says after you have handed it out — the person who saved it always sees the current version.
Do the people I share with need the app?
No. A MekaCard opens in any web browser. The app is for building and editing your own card, and for saving the contacts who share theirs with you. Anyone can view your card and save your details without installing anything.
Can I put more than links on my card?
Yes. A profile can hold sections for links, embedded media, a photo carousel, PDFs such as a menu or a price list, a map pin for your location, and free text. You choose which sections appear and in what order.
Does MekaCard work with NFC cards?
Yes. Your profile has a fixed URL, so any NFC tag or card that can store a link will open it on tap. The same URL also backs your QR code, which means one profile works across a printed QR, an NFC card and a shared link at the same time.
Can I see who viewed my card?
Your profile records how many times it was viewed and how many people saved your contact details. Contacts who choose to share their own details back appear in your contact list inside the app.
Can I use my own branding?
You can set your photo, cover image, background, colours and card theme, and the profile is addressed at mekacard.app followed by your chosen username — so the link itself reads as yours.
